Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she had her breakthrough on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted in Hollywood as God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. In 1964, she signed with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her career between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has also become a renowned director on popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
