sylvester stallone-4-1024x1024Stallone was conceived in Hell's Kitchen, New York City's hospital for the poor. The forceps he used to birth him affected a facial nerve, giving him the left eyelid drooping and a speech problem. After spending most of his childhood in boarding care, Stallone rejoined his family and relocated with them to Maryland when he was five. After his divorce from his parents in the year 1957, Stallone initially lived with his father. However, he relocated to Philadelphia at the age of 15 to stay with his newly married mother. He was a student at a private school specifically designed for troubled teenagers because of his history with being expelled from schools.
